Accessibility statement

Direct Services Group (DSG) wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, or voice control.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We check the site with automated testing tools, by keyboard, and at high zoom on desktop and phone screens, and we fix the problems we find.

What the site does

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, shows where the keyboard focus is, and starts with a link that skips to the main content.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks, and lists that screen readers can move through, and images that carry information have text descriptions.
  • Text is set in colors that meet WCAG contrast levels against its background.
  • The site works at up to 400% zoom and on narrow screens without scrolling sideways.
  • Form fields have labels, and each form says which fields are optional.
  • The Pause motion button, in the top corner of every page and in the footer, stops the site's animations, and the site remembers the choice. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site follows that setting on its own.

Third-party content

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that they are sent by a person rather than an automated program. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare. If it, or anything else on the site, gets in your way, call or email us and we will take your message directly.
